Our puppies are raised in our home, and stay in our bedroom until they are 4 weeks old. From the beginning of their lives there are many things we do to help stimulate and support the development of healthy and confident pups. I pay close attention to the unique needs and opportunities that each week of their lives presents.

At 4 weeks the puppies are moved to our large kitchen, where they have a large area to run around and play in, and which has direct access to our yard. A number of times a day they go outside to explore the world, and begin their house breaking.

At 7 weeks old, we will assess each puppy using the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test. Through this series of tests we can see how easy-going, sociable, alert, trainable, and reactive each pup is. Once we have evaluated the puppies, we will make sure the puppy you have either picked out, or hoping for, is a perfect match for you and your family.

Puppies will have been wormed twice, vet checked, and, based on their immunity level, may have had their first shots.
